NRI Home Loan EMI

NRI home loans are still rupee loans on Indian property. Convert your surplus to INR before you plan EMI.

What is a NRI Home Loan EMI?

Eligibility rules differ for NRIs, but EMI math is the same reducing-balance formula.

How is it calculated?

Enter the INR loan, rate and tenure. Switch the site currency if you want a display conversion.

Formula used

EMI = P × r × (1+r)^n / ((1+r)^n − 1)
P = principal, r = annual rate ÷ 12 ÷ 100, n = months

Worked example

₹75 lakh at 8.5% for 20 years has an EMI of about ₹65,019.
