Gold Returns Calculator

Retail quotes in India are commonly per 10 grams. Making charges on jewellery reduce true return.

What is a Gold Returns Calculator?

Current value = grams × (price per 10g / 10). Future value compounds your assumed appreciation.

How is it calculated?

Enter grams, price per 10g, expected appreciation and years. Optionally add gold-fund cash.

Formula used

Current = grams × (price10g / 10)
Future = current × (1 + appreciation/100)^years

Worked example

20g at ₹75,000 per 10g is ₹1.5 lakh today. At 8% for 10 years the future value is higher.
