What is a Gold Loan EMI Calculator?
A gold loan EMI (if offered as EMI) uses the same reducing-balance math as other retail loans.
How is it calculated?
Enter the sanctioned amount, rate and tenure in years.
Formula used
EMI = P × r × (1+r)^n / ((1+r)^n − 1)
P = principal, r = annual rate ÷ 12 ÷ 100, n = months
P = principal, r = annual rate ÷ 12 ÷ 100, n = months
Worked example
₹2 lakh at 10% for 2 years has an EMI of about ₹9,229.
